Haven't heard a good song out of Nickatina probably since he got on Jacka's Glamorous Lifestyle a couple of years ago (and killed it). A few months ago they put a CD out together and I just got around to listening to it. Looks like I've been sleeping. Oops. And no download link for this one because I like supporting the underdog. This dude Kendrick Lamar is out of LA and he's causing quite a stir. His flow is unpredictable and his gruffy voice rides beats nicely.

Asher Roth is someone who got written off because he went from spitting such intelligent stuff on his mixtapes, then dropped his commercial album with some of the least intelligent stuff I've ever heard (still catchy though). Well this is what happens when Asher Roth actually tries hard: he fucking murders it. Enjoy this song, the EP is sick as well, as is the video.
